Hands On Miami’s Youth Volunteer Corps (YVC) is an exciting youth-volunteering program offered only to teenagers ages 13 and older who are residents of Miami-Dade County. Each month, the YVC organizes and manages various direct-service projects with service organizations throughout Miami-Dade County, from Homestead to North Miami. We offer a diverse range of monthly projects, from serving food at the Miami Rescue Mission to working with senior citizens and painting school murals.

YVC members take an active role in the development of YVC service projects, submit project ideas, and help increase the YVC membership as they recruit friends to join them at a variety of fun and rewarding service projects. The YVC is a wonderful way for teenagers to volunteer together, to get those much-needed community service hours, and most importantly, to feel like they make a difference in our community!
