Project On Demands are customized community service projects consisting of ten to twenty volunteers. Just tell us what kind of volunteering your group is interested in and we will work together to match your group with the date, time, and project type of your needs. This is a great and enjoyable way to get community service hours while volunteering with your team, school club or youth group!

How do I apply for a Project On Demand?

Step One: Fill out the following application: POD Application

Step Two: Submit P.O.D. application to: youth@handsonmiami.org or call 305-646-7217

 

POD Policies

·         Applications must be received between 2-3 weeks prior to the start date requested.

·         Hands On Miami will take into consideration all applications but cannot guarantee project availability.

·         All volunteers must be between the ages of 13-17 and students in Miami-Dade County.

·         All youth volunteers are required to complete and return a YVC application and waiver forms prior to the start of the project.

*Keep in mind that many agencies cannot accommodate volunteer groups larger than fifteen people. Outdoor projects generally have more flexibility.
