ServiceWorks: Volunteer Training & Workshop Facilitators and Coaches Needed
What is ServiceWorks? ServiceWorks is a groundbreaking, national program that uses volunteer service as a strategy to help 25,000 underserved youth and young adults develop the skills they need to prepare for greater college and career success. HandsOn Miami is excited to bring the ServiceWorks curriculum to life in Miami, but we need your help to make it happen. Who are you? The ideal volunteer for this role is someone with a passion for education. You are at least 16 years of age, are comfortable speaking in front of small-to medium-sized groups (20-50 people), have experience facilitating trainings and/or meetings, and can commit to attending a 5-hour training session and lead at least 3, 90-minute training sessions before August 30, 2017.
