Get Wild at Zoo Miami
It’s time to get wild at Zoo Miami! As a volunteer at this project, you will work alongside the Conservation and Research Department with invasive plant removal efforts. In the process, you will get to see a side of the zoo few ever get to see, and probably one you didn’t even realize existed.
PLUS, you get free admission to the Zoo immediately after the project! Volunteer in the morning, and stay, play and explore during the afternoon!
*Free admission to Zoo Miami is only valid on the same day of your volunteer participation. Free admission is only valid for the volunteer who particpated and is not transferrable.

NEED TO KNOW:
- Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older in order to participate.
- Volunteers should be able to bend at the waist, squat, and lift up to 15 pounds.
- Volunteers will be working in natural areas. Long pants/jeans are recommended to protect legs from plants, debris and insect bites.
- Please bring a refillable water bottle to ensure you stay hydrated throughout the course of the project.
- Hat and sunglasses are recommended to make your experience even more enjoyable.
