Paint the Streets - Volunteers Needed to Assist with New Mural
The City of Miami has received a grant from KaBOOM! to turn a dead-end street into a 'play street' by painting the road in a way that will inspire active play.  One play street will be created in each of the City's 5 commission districts, and Miami-based artist Xavier Cortada has been selected to create the play space in District 3.

Volunteers will work alongside Xavier to bring his vision of 'Mangrove Hop' game - a game which will challenge players to hop from one mangrove seedling to the next.  And YOU will be the one making this game possible by painting the game elements (mangrove seedlings that Xavier and a group of artists will sketch in advance) on the street!
