Agency: Miami Dade Animal Services

Description: Hands On Miami volunteers will bathe the adoptable dogs at Miami-Dade Animal Services Department, an agency responsible for finding homes and providing proper care for abandoned animals.
In order to work with animals, the Shelter requires that all volunteers attend a brief orientation. Therefore be sure you ARRIVE AT THE SHELTER by 10:15 AM so you can register and then attend the Animal Shelter orientation.

AGENCY RULES ARE VERY STRICT. YOU MUST WEAR CLOSED TOE SHOES AND LONG PANTS. THEY WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO TAKE PART IN THE PROJECT IF YOU ARE NOT WEARING CLOSED TOE SHOES AND LONG PANTS.
Also wear clothing you do not mind getting wet and dirty since you will be bathing and drying dogs.
