Agency: StandUp For Kids Miami

Description: StandUp For Kids welcomes you to an orientation meeting for new volunteers. This is a great chance to hear an overview of the program and learn about the ways you can get involved with outreach, prevention, mentoring, advocacy, fundraising and behind-the-scenes support. Our program is run 100% by volunteers and your support will help us reach big goals, including the opening of a drop-in center.

We ask that all interest volunteers RSVP and attend an orientation.

Note: We ask that all volunteers undergo a background screening because we work with a sensitive population. The fee is $15 and it would be easiest if you could bring BOTH a photocopy or scanned copy of your driver's license AND cash or check for $15 (payable to StandUp For Kids). We will not have a photocopier on premises. If anyone has financial constraints, please contact the director of the program (miami@standupforkids.org).
