GARDEN: Storytelling Garden at Allapattah Library
A winner of the Miami Foundation 2016 Public Space Challenge, The Agency for Community Empowerment along with the Miami Dade County Public Library System is creating a Storytelling Garden outside the Allapattah library, a place where the community can come together and safely enjoy the outdoor space of the library among beautiful native plants. Volunteers will be asked to plant native plants under the supervision of Citizens for a Better South Florida. Additionally, volunteers will assist with set up and clean up of the area.
The creation of the Storytelling Garden will take place on February 1, 2020 from 9am to 2pm.
Please consider helping us create an oasis in the middle of Allapattah.
