Thanksgiving Hunger Action DIY 2022

This month HandsOn Miami would like to help families experiencing economic hardship celebrate Thanksgiving through this Do It Yourself project. The recipient of the Hunger Action Totes will be The Tree of Life Parenting & Adolescents Center. The Tree of Life Center's mission is to empower women & teens with the tools necessary to thrive, overcome, and be successful in every stage of their lives. This month, they will be distributing dinner kits to over 300 families in advance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

This project requires 2 Steps. You will be upcycling old t-shirts, turning them into tote bags. The tote bags will be used to store the food items that will be donated to The Tree of Life Parenting & Adolescents Center.

** For all DIY Projects, you do not need to wait for confirmation. Once you have expressed interest and accessed the instructions, you are free to begin the project.
