HELP OUT: Drive-Thru Food Pantry
The COVID-19 has changed to how we serve families in the Miami Gardens area. We have created a drive-thru food distribution day. Volunteers are needed to assist with loading the cars to ensure a quick service, with minimal contact to ensure adherence to social distancing guidelines.
Please, sign up to help out if you meet the following criteria:
- Able to lift & carry up to 40 lbs
- Able to stand for long periods.
- NOT have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19 within the past 14 days
- NOT exhibiting any flu-like or cold symptoms: fever, cough, sneezing, loss of sense of smell, fatigue, etc.
Closed-toe shoes are required for safety! Please wear long pants or jeans, a t-shirt (no strapless shirts or tank tops), and sneakers are preferred. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early for a brief orientation about the volunteer opportunity from the Project Leader.
