Chamber Volunteer Day 2017 - Makeover @ Pelican Harbor Seabird Station
Pelican Harbor Seabird Station is a wildlife hospital service all native wildlife. If you haven't spent much time with wildlife you should know they are MESSY. We need your help to makeover our facility and deep clean these animals' homes. This project will be divided into many small tasks: clean and detail our animal ambulance, pressure wash/scrub pen enclosures, plant new vegetation in animal enclosures, possible painting of animal enclosures (weather dependent), sidewalk clean and island trash clean up. Additionally some volunteers will be asked to help conduct a Bird Count on nearby Bird Key where we monitor fluctuations in local bird populations (boat trip weather dependent).
