For over 30 years Catholic Hospice, Inc. continues to serve the South Florida community as a community based not-for-profit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of people with a life-limiting illness and their loved ones. Hospice care involves medical supervision, emotional support, spiritual guidance and pain management. We provide care to people of all faiths. The Catholic Hospice Choice provides a journey filled with love, care, compassion and respect for human dignity by highly trained professionals.
We understand this is a difficult time, our patients and their loved ones receive additional counseling services through our bereavement team to alleviate the psychosocial intricacies of being a patient and caring for a loved one. Our services extend to someone experiencing a life-limiting illness, caregivers, children and anyone in the community who is suffering loss, regardless of a prior connection with our services.
As one of the services we provide twice a year to the greater community, we partner with Eluna (formerly known as The Moyer Foundation) to host Camp Erin®, a free non-denominational bereavement camp for children and teens ages 6 to 17 years old who are grieving the death of a significant person in their lives.
