Registration is now open for HandsOn Miami's 2021 Virtual Summer Service Camp!
As part of our continued partnership with HandsOn Broward, HandsOn Miami is pleased to be offering a virtual service-learning summer program for teens in Miami-Dade County for Summer 2021. We've preserved all of the signature elements of the summer service camp that make for a high-quality experience while tweaking the design to protect the health and safety of our enrolled youth leaders, as well as the staff and clients of our many nonprofit partners. Students participating in the camp experience will earn 45 service hours upon completion of the week's activities.
The 2021 Summer Service Camp program will be offered at a rate of $60 per session. The session begins at 10 am and will last 1-3 hours depending on that day’s agenda. We will be having group discussions, exploring different Broward & Miami Dade County agencies, and creating projects at home with guided instruction. Material lists for each session will be sent out after payment is received.
2021 Camp Dates & Impact Area Focus:
Session 1: June 21 – 25: Environmental
Session 2: June 28 – July 2: Kindness
Session 3: July 12 – 16: Diversity
Session 4: July 19 – 23: Early Childhood & Literacy
Session 5: August 2 – 6: Mental Health (Teen Project Leaders)
STEPS TO REGISTER:
You must complete all steps below in order to complete registration.
Note: If you are a parent registering your child, please be sure you are logged into their HandsOn Miami account when you complete the registration process. If they do not have an account, please create one for them before beginning the registration process.
- Click the Signup button on the Opportunity Details page for the Session you'd like to sign up for.
- You must complete the registration form on the following two pages. You will not be signed up if you do not complete the form on the following two pages.
- There is a $60 tuition for each weekly session due upon registration, payable via Paypal. Upon completing the registration form, you’ll automatically be brought to the donation page. You will not be successfully registered unless the transaction is completed in the same window.
